Would An Obama Divorce Upset The Applecart? Maybe That Explains Why She Went On A Separate Vacation When He Turned 50!

Is Michelle Obama Divorcing Barack?

Is Michelle Obama Divorcing Barack?

Is First Lady Michelle Obama divorcing Barack? She has reportedly met with divorce lawyers and will remain in the White House for the rest of his term in order to keep up appearance, but intends to live a separate life for him. Sources claim that Michelle will move into one of the bedrooms in the family’s private living quarters and has already made arrangements to move his belongings out of their home in Chicago. She will also reportedly go after half of his assets in the divorce settlement.
Although the source for this rumor is the National Enquirer, the tabloid publication has been correct on some of their recent political stories. They were the first to break the story that former Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards had impregnated another woman while his wife was slowly dying from cancer.
It seems that the Obama’s recent trip to South Africa for Nelson Mandela’s memorial service may have put their teetering relationship over the edge. The First Lady appeared to be fuming as the President took “selfie” photos with other politicians during the memorial service, in addition to laughing and flirting with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Eventually, she got up and switched seats to place herself in the middle of Barack and Thorning-Schmidt.
Barack’s selfie with Thorning-Schmidt and British Prime Minister David Cameron quickly went viral, making “Michelle Obama” and “Danish PM” trending topics on Twitter. Many Americans expressed outrage at the photos and the President’s lack of sensitivity during the memorial service for the human rights icon. “I wish I could say that I’m shocked that: A) Obama took a selfie at a memorial service, or B.) he looked like a giddy tween while doing it,” tweeted Angela Nelson.
