Rehana, The Female Kurdish Superstar Fighter, Might Not Have Been Killed.

[Graphic] Latest Report About ISIS Killing Superstar Won’t Sit Well With ISIS

Ever since the initial reports about the female Kurdish fighter that sent 100 Islamic State militants to their virgin-less hell surfaced, Rehana has been an international sensation. However, in an apparently botched attempt at propaganda, the Islamic State posted photos of one of their militants allegedly holding the brave woman’s head after they beheaded her, and it looks like it was all just a sham.
On Monday, Mad World News ran a report about the alleged beheading of Rehana, showing the picture that the terrorist group was using but stating that there was little to confirm it was actually the young woman the world has grown to admire.

The photo depicts an ISIS militant holding the head of what is said to be a female member of the Krudish YPG (People’s Defense Unit). Some are saying it’s Rehana herself, as quite a few other news media outlets are reporting. However, these claims have yet to be verified, despite several spreading the news as if it is irrefutable truth.
According to MailOnline, our suspicions were correct and Rehana was able to escape the Syrian city of Kobane, where she was reportedly fighting, and make it safely to southern Turkey. The photo that was posted by the Islamic State is now said to be of a different Kurdish resistance fighter, although her identity is unknown.
Friends of the female killing machine said she made a daring escape during intense fighting in the key border city last week.
According to MailOnline:
Speaking of ISIS’ sickening propaganda photograph, a journalist who was based in Kobane as recently as last week said the dead woman is not Rehana but another Kurdish resistance fighter.
‘She is my friend and I confirm that she is alive. And the picture of beheaded female fighter is not Rehana’s picture,’ he told MailOnline, speaking on condition of anonymity.
He went on to say that he saw Rehana leave Kobane during intense fighting there last week, shortly before he was forced to do the same thing.
Although he lost temporarily lost contact with Rehana as they made their separate journeys over the nearby Turkish border, the journalist said he has been informed by friends that she is living as a refugee in Turkey, most likely in the southern Şanliurfa Province.
‘She is in Turkey. I will try to gain her number because I lost the connection with her. She evacuated Kobane and I stayed in Kobane. At the beginning of the last clashes Rehana left Kobane,’ he said.
Other friends have said that they’ve heard news of Rehana’s well-being through various sources, and that they know for a fact the image circulated by the Islamic State is a fraud.
“The facial features [of the head in the ISIS photo] are not hers,” a friend of the fighter’s said, who asked to remain unidentified.
A Syrian/Kurdish journalist by the name of Rashad Abdel Qader also said that he knows the young woman well and that he’s spoken to her since the photo emerged from the Islamic State.
Rehana is one of about 10,000 female fighters that the Kurds have put on the front lines to combat the Islamic State terrorist group. Their effectiveness not only comes from their fierce fighting, but also because the jihadists believe if they are killed by a woman, they’re not true martyrs and will not receive their virgins upon their deaths.
It’s great news to hear that the Islamic State wasn’t able to capture her and bring a gruesome end to her life. Hopefully she’ll return to the battlefield and continue to kick jihadist ass.
Are you happy to hear that she’s alive and well? Let us know what you think about this in the comments.
