Iran Provides Missiles To Hamas And Hezbollah

Iran Brags of Supplying Long-Range Rockets to Hezbollah

“They gush out, they speak arrogancy; all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily.” (Psalm 94:4)
Just two days before the deadline for a nuclear deal with the West, Iran boasts it has supplied advanced rockets to its Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, capable of hitting any target in Israel. According to the report by the semi-official Iranian Fars News Agency, the Fateh (Conqueror) missiles have a range of 250-350 kilometers (about 155-217 miles), can carry up to a 500 kilogram (over 1100 pound) warhead and travel at speeds of up to 4,500 kilometers (almost 2800 miles) per hour.

“Considering the range of the rockets possessed by the organization, Hezbollah can now attack every point in Israel, from the south to the north,” General Seyed Majid Moussavi of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard told the paper. This includes “targets in the south on the occupied territory. Dimona is an easy target,” he boasted, referring to the site of Israel’s Negev Nuclear Research Center, a facility widely believed to be used for manufacturing nuclear weapons, though Israel officially remains ambiguous about its purpose.
Ynet reports that today’s Iranian missiles are more accurate than their older counterparts, and they arrive in Lebanon via Syria.
Iran considers supplying Hezbollah and Hamas with weapons and training one of its top priorities, to enable the groups to attack what it calls “the bloodthirsty Zionist enemy”.
