WHAT DID OBAMA MEAN WHEN HE SAID “BY HOOK OR CROOK” I’LL GET THINGS DONE

It’s not like the cat’s out of the bag exactly.
We’ve known for a long time that Obama is hell bent on getting his legislation passed.
But what’s crazy, no, what’s INSANE, is that he will openly admit his contempt for the law and receive no repercussions for his abuse of the constitution.
In an interview with the Huffington Post he said about his legacy:
“The Affordable Care Act, which is working better than even I thought it was going to work, and we now have 16 million-plus people who are benefiting directly from having health insurance, and we have another 130 million who don’t have to worry about losing theircoverage because of pre-existing conditions. Millions of young people who are on their parents’ plan. Those are pretty progressive.
“What we have done though is consistently looked for additional opportunities to get stuff done. Wherever we see a possibility of increasing wages, creating more jobs, making sure that more people are able to access opportunity, we’re going to seize it. And we’re going to, wherever possible, try toreach out to Republicans and see if they can work with us. And where they’re not willing to work with us, we will do it administratively or we will convene the private sector.
By hook or by crook, (emphasis added)  we’re going to make sure that when I leave this office, that the country is more prosperous, more people have opportunity, kids have a better education, we’re more competitive, climate change is being taken more seriously than it was, and we are actually trying to do something about it. Those are going to be the measures by which I look back and say whether I’ve been successful as president.
If being successful means dismantling everything the framers worked so hard to secure over 200 years ago then, yes, he is going to be one of most successful presidents of all time.
This sets a very dangerous precedent for any President who is to succeed him in office.
If there are no restrictions on the office of the executive then the President will be free to do whatever he wants.
Imagine how catastrophic this would be for individual liberty.
The President cannot be allowed to get away with this.
You can only hope Republicans in congress will stop this before it gets worse.
