Kellyann Conway is absolutely right. How could Trump pick a guy that fought him and the Republican Party and its nominee tooth and nail and did everything he and a whole bunch of other jealous, vengeful egomaniac Republicans did to sabotage their own party? And Romney was at the top of that list.
Where is Trump’s loyalty to friends without whom he would never have been elected. Both Conway and Giuliani have made priceless contributions and Giuliani is imminently qualified to do any job offered
And why the most qualified man Trump has to do the job of Secretary of State, John Bolton, seems to have disappeared from consideration, I will never understand.
And, what about the rest of us who voted for Trump to make major changes, not bring back the same tired out bunch of losers that put this nation into this terrible fix.
Does Trump think he is encouraging any more Republican Party loyalty and confidence? I for one won’t give any of them another dime and certainly won’t believe anything they ever say, especially Trump, who is playing into the hands of his mortal enemies. They will obstruct his every more.
Wake up suddenly magnanimous Trump, They are just playing you for a sucker.
A brace of social-media posts by Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway on Thanksgiving Day may point to an urgent sense among some Trump allies that Mitt Romney is not the man for the secretary of state job, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The competition for arguably the most prestigious post in the Trump cabinet appeared to have come down to Romney vs. former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, even as some Trump backers reportedly continued to push for consideration of additional candidates.
(There’s even a faction, according to a Hill report on Friday, that’s calling on Romney to qualify himself for consideration by apologizing publicly for questioning Trump’s ideas on foreign policy and the economy, as well as his temperament, integrity and honesty, and for having gone on as well to assail Trump over engaging in misogyny and “absurd third-grade theatrics.”)

By the way, you are already surrounded by enemies (Jim Ryan, Chuck Schumer, now Romney)  They will try to make a mess of your first term and try like hell to supplant you themselves for the next 4 years. Why try to help them in their sick endeavers? Instead have proven supporters in your cabinet and make your life that much easier. This is not the time to be a great “liberal.”
